Willy Dog magically helps turn a Hot Dog into a Porsche

When you see a person driving around in a Porsche, you know they mean business. That’s what happened John Elgin decided once and for all to quit his blue-collar job as a car mechanic and set up shop as a Hot Doggier Extraordinaire.

When John, stuck in an employment slump, decided to quit his job a few years ago, never did he think of the riches that the stylish and well-built hot dog cart would provide him. John claims he wanted to get out of the stifling and stinky shop where he put in long hours, and do something that would give him a breath of fresh air; which meant literally working right on the beach! John started out working by himself at the cart, but the warm year-round climate that Florida offered and a great location meant that he would have to hire some helping hands. So he hired a few more reliable staff, and bought another cart to set up in another spot along the beach. John claims, “At first I looked at this as sort of a side job that I would do on the weekends after I found somewhere else to work. I quickly realized, however, that I would be able to make a living off of this hot dog cart!”

After about a year, business was booming and John was happier than he had ever been. All the neighbors knew this too, because he is often spotted zipping around his neighborhood in a flashy red Porsche with the top down, of course. John considers himself grateful to Willy Dog, and founder Will Hodgskiss, for jump-starting his successful business. “Will was always helpful and nice, offering tips and ideas for making the business as successful as possible – he wanted me to do well!”

John is still in the Hot Dog business and considers himself an entrepreneur as well as a shrewd businessman. John could not be more proud of the decision he made a few years ago that changed his life, not to mention his set of wheels.
